Nigeria has recorded 196 new cases of Coronavirus. This number is the highest the country has had in a single day.
As of 29th April 2020, Nigeria now has a total of 1,728 Coronavirus infections so far with the virus spiking up in Lagos and Kano yesterday.
According to the update from NCDC late Wednesday night 11:58pm, Lagos had 87 fresh cases, Kano recorded 24 new cases, Gombe had 18 fresh cases, with Kaduna also recording 17 new cases of the deadly virus.
FCT 16; Katsina, 10; Sokoto, 8; Edo, 7; Borno, 6; Yobe, 1; Ebonyi, 1 and Adamawa, 1.
Cross River and Kogi States are yet to record any case of Coronavirus as Yobe records its index case.
