Landmark Event Centre, Rumours and 10 others shutdown by the Lagos state Government for violating COVID19 protocols.

The facilities were shut down during an enforcement operation led by the Director-General, Lagos State Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola while the team was out on routine enforcement and monitoring activities to enforce compliance with the government’s directive on COVID-19 pandemic.


Apart from sealed are Landmark Event Centre, the other clubs sealed were Buzz Bar, Silverfox, Cocoon, DNA Night Club, Westend Nightclub, Rumours, Lekki Waterside and The Wave Beach club as they all went against the Covid19 protocol.

According to the Director-General, Lagos State Safety Commission, event centers that broke the government’s seal based on the current outbreak of the second wave of COVID19 and continued partying would be charged to court once documentation had been properly processed.

Lanre Mojola also said the government was committed to curbing the spread of the virus and would leave nothing to chance to achieve this mandate.

It was announced some weeks ago that Nigeria like some other countries is currently experiencing the second wave of COVID19 and the Lagos state government is doing everything possible to curb the spread and there after remove the disease completely from the state.
