Carl Ikeme was Super eagles former goalkeeper and also former Wolves goalkeeper. He was forced into early retirement in 2018 after he was diagnosed with acute leukaemia in 2017 had to retire from the national team due to the illness although he is now in remission.
In a bid to support the less previleged during this pandemic Carl Ikeme revealed he would raffle the shirt he wore in his final Super Eagles game to raise money for motherless children and Nigerians in need.
The former goalkeeper was super eagles No 1, his last game for Nigeria was a world cup qualifying clash against Zambia back in 2016.
Carl took to hia twitter to announce his intentions and how he plans on helping during this pandemic. He said he would offer the jersey he wore in the game against Zambia. See his posts below;
