DSTV: Reps set to reduce price

The House of Representatives is currently making moves to bring to an end the unreasonable subscription rates charged by Multichoice for its Digital Satellite Television services (DSTV) in the country.

Reports have it that the house have observed that their high pricing has caused a lot of Nigerians to be unable to afford to subscribe for its “premium” bouquet.

They made sure to point out that this monopoly was only possible because the digital satellite Company, Multichoice, do not have a lot of competition at the moment.
