Demi Lovato in Stable Condition after reported Drug Overdose
Singer Demi Lovato was rushed to ER on tuesday morning after a call was put through to fire department for medical emergency at about 11am in what appears to be an overdose of heroin.
According to CNN, a source close to Lovato’s family previously told CNN that the singer’s hospitalization was the result of an apparent drug overdose. The source also said that she is currently awake and responding to treatment. The source said;
“Demi is awake and with her family, who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support,” said the statement from Lovato’s representative. “Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.”
Lovato’s latest health scare will most likely affect the singer’s Thursday Atlantic Beach concert as unconfirmed reports say the organizers have rescheduled the show indefinitely.
