Covid 19 stories: One of the drivers with Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has tested positive for Coronavirus in Nasarawa state.
This was disclosed by the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, during an expanded state security meeting in Lafia, the state capital this morning, May 5th.
The driver who resides in Ado in Karu Local Government Area of the state, is one of the drivers who transports test samples for the agency in Abuja and most likely got infected in the process.
He has been moved to the isolation centre at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi this morning to begin his treatment.
As at when this is been reported, Nasarawa has 11 confirmed cases of the viral disease.
